How to Choose a Herbal Hemorrhoid Remedy

Comfrey root powder comes from the Comfrey plant, or Symphytum officinale L. Calendula is also quite popular as a hemorrhoid remedy and is used to relieve inflammation and pain caused by hemorrhoids. Calendula can be made into a cream or paste and used topically, or it can be steeped in an infusion and used to make a sitz bath.
